Cash Auto Salvage is a nationwide junk car buyer. They partner with junkyards across the country to buy cars, trucks, and SUVs for cash.
The junk car business can be cut-throat. Cash Auto Salvage came to us with an aggressive goal to get on page one of Google for hundreds of location-specific pages.
When we accepted the challenge in November 2016, their organic traffic was fairly stagnant at just over 1,000 visitors per month.
Additionally, their site design and logo were outdated and did not portray a professional brand image.
An important part of this business is trust, as scammers in the industry are proven to exist. An overhaul of the site’s design as well as the logo were in order to provide the consumer facing image that they needed. Not only that, they needed their site to capture leads at a much higher rate.
We used similar colors to their existing brand, tweaking them slightly and putting emphasis on different areas as well as focusing on areas where visitors can connect with them easily.

Although the new image was an important part of this project, getting their SEO game in order was the top priority.
Failed attempts with ‘shoddy’ SEO agencies left for a bad impression of anyone who talked about increasing rank on Google and other search engines, so we knew we had to impress.
Because of their nationwide reach, part of the strategy was to establish Cash Auto Salvage as a knowledgeable, helpful, and trustworthy business – which was mainly done through a blog with high quality content.
From there, we moved onto other parts of our overall strategy that has helped them move up in rankings and gain more traffic and business consistently over a 1-year timeframe.
Between November 2016 and February 2018, their organic traffic has risen over 3,700%.
